Aston Villa Unveil Their New Strip
Hollywood Monster were pivotal to the unveiling of Aston Villas new football strip by manufacturing and installing a huge 150 sqm replica of the kit at the ICC in Birmingham.
The 3000 strong crowd were in awe of the oversized shirt which was manufactured in a 24 hour period and took a total of 10 people to install covering the whole side of the building.
The digitally printed vinyl football strip was applied to the glazing of the ICC building. A 200 sqm cover was manufactured out of canvas to cover the shirt prior to the unveiling announcing the event.
One lucky child was chosen to press a plunger following a countdown which unveiled the strip to the crowd of supporters and media which included both local, national and satellite television coverage. The new kit marks the launch of Aston Villas new partnership with foreign exchange traders FxPro.
The project was brought together with consultation between Birmingham City Council, The ICC events team and Aston Villa Football Club.

Simon McKenzie commented ‘We were delighted to work with Big Sky Banners on such a high profile advertising site. The M6 Walsall site is one of the largest banner sites in the country and with such a prominent location on the southbound carriageway of the M6 towards Birmingham, thousands of passing motorists will see this every day for the next three weeks.’

Leicester Tigers Stand Re-brand
Hollywood Monster recently manufactured and installed the high level corporate signage for Goldsmiths, in time for the new rugby 2010/11 season.
Goldsmiths have replaced Alliance and Leicester as stand sponsors for the season and as such required signage that will withstand the elements for the duration of the season 30metres above ground
A full team of installers, abseilers and site officials battled strong winds over a period of 7 days to install the roof hoarding that measured 70 metres overall x 2m high. Each panel was hoisted one by one onto the roof and fitted by the abseiling crew.
Project Manager Patrick Perkins commented ‘whilst the winds caused the abseilers a little difficulty we managed to get the hoarding up in a timely fashion’.
The Leicester Tigers re-brand also included a series of banners and built up lettering which was also completed within the same period.
This project is one of many to be installed to various sporting arenas across the UK this year. For more information please contact Tim Andrews on 07774 100013.
