As the largest graphics solutions business in the Birmingham region, our skilled craftspeople provide clients all over the UK with a range of graphics and digitally printed products – from an A4 sign board to the largest building wrap or structure.

We are experts in consultancy, project management and planning, offering a bespoke service from supply only to a fully experienced, safe and insured installation service.

We tackle small jobs to the most intricate projects that require road closures, civil engineered bases, structural engineered structures, abseiling, cherry pickers, cranes, public spaces, listed buildings, shopping centres and alike.

Hollywood Monster services a variety of industries across the UK including:

Hollywood Monster was created in August 2009 with the coming together of sister companies Hollywood Signs and Monster Digital.

Employing in excess of 65 people, the 30,000 sq ft premises is situated in the centre of the UK, providing an excellent distribution centre to the rest of the UK, complemented by sales offices in Birmingham and London.

Our skilled team of craftsmen include graphic designers, draftsmen, structural engineers, model makers, traditional signwriters, welders, painters, civil engineers, decorators and carpenters. The business operates 24/7 combining its skill sets and technology including our £2m investment in state of the art UV direct to substrate 5m wide HP roll to roll and Vutek flat bed printing machinery. Our machinery is the largest available machinery in the UK, in fact the world!

We are large enough to offer support and peace of mind, but small enough to offer a personal, proactive and professional service to the client with customer service and delivery the uppermost in our dedicated project management team’s minds.

Consultancy

Our design team will give you expert advice not only on your design concept but also on the practicalities and feasibility of manufacture. Our imagination coupled with in depth knowledge and experience of the industry means we’lll provide ideas and design concepts to put you ahead of your competition.

We provide a full design for print service and can advise you through each step of the design process. We will source stock imagery and purchase it on your behalf or commission photography to suit your project. We can arrange high resolution scans of your photography to suit large scale print.

We offer an image manipulation facility so we can enhance your images with colour adjustments or by removing unwanted objects and retouching.

We can design your artwork from scratch or alternatively you can provide us with all the parts and we’ll put them together in a way that is eye catching and appealing.

Project Management

We understand the importance of a great working relationship and how it impacts on the success of a project. Our ability to become an integral part of your team, by integrating our thinking with yours, understanding your requirements, using our experienced project management and industry skills keeps our clients coming back time after time.

Our team of project managers are specialists in their chosen fields and so our motivation and interest for your project will always be the utmost priority.

Our team are trained in providing all aspects of project management to include cost management, heath and safety awareness, planning applications, consulting engineers, permit application and above all else customer care

Planning

You may need to apply for advertisement consent to display an advertisement bigger than 0.3 sq metres on the front or outside your property so you are unlikely to need consent for a house or building name. Temporary notices upto 0.6m sq relating to local events such as street parties or concerts, may also be displayed for a short period.

There are different rules for estate agents boards but in general these should be no larger than 0.5 sqm. The planning regime for larger professional adverts, signs for businesses, and so on is far more complex.

All outdoor advisements must comply with five standard conditions:

• To be kept clean and tidy
• To be kept in a safe condition
• To have the permission of the owner of the site on which they are displayed (including highways authority etc)
• Not to obscure, or hinder the interpretation of official road, rail, waterways or aircraft signs or otherwise make the use of these types of transport hazardous
• To be removed carefully where so required by the planning authority
