Birmingham City Ladies FC receive special honour from Tim Andrews

Blues Ladies and Tim Andrews celebrate their FA Cup winning season in style at Birmingham City’s end of season dinner, PA13.

The girls hit the high life again on Sunday night when they were presented with a Special Achievement Award by Tim Andrews, Managing Director of Hollywood Monster at Birmingham City’s end of season dinner held at the ICC.

The award was in recognition of a great season in 2012 that culminated in winning the FA Cup, qualifying for Europe, and being named Club of the Year 2012 by the FA.

Club Captain, Kerys Harrop said: “It was a really nice surprise and honour to be presented with the award in front of all the players, supporters and sponsors at such a great event. We hope to bring even more success to the Club this season and beyond.”

Birmingham City Ladies Chief Executive, Steve Shipway added: “Over the last two seasons Birmingham City Ladies has become a major force in women’s football both on and off the field. And none of it would be possible without the fantastic support received from Birmingham City Football Club, its support has never wavered; and the Club has always honoured any commitment its made, as well as pushing on with the future strategy.

“Thanks must also go to our main shirt sponsor, Hollywood Monster, who presented the award. They have been with us since we began life in the Super League and have become an integral part of our set up, not only financially but in working with us to develop the club further… long may they be with us.”
