Birmingham Signage Company Help St Modwen Get Noticed

Hollywood Monster has recently been awarded extensive hoarding decoration and corporate branding signage contracts at sites in Birmingham and Rugby.

Working at high profile development sites at the former MG Rover works at Longbridge, Birmingham and at the 82 acre former Alstom Industrial site complex in Rugby both installations were completed on time and to budget as part of a rigorous programme of redevelopment and construction works instructed under contract by St Modwen.

At Longbridge, Hollywood Monster installed approximately 200 metres of hoarding decoration around the perimeter surrounding the construction site for the new £84 million Bournville College. These panels have been specifically designed to promote the future arrival and launch of the college which signifies the first major phase of redevelopment at the £750 million scheme. Bournville College is currently based in Northfield and will be relocating to Longbridge to bring together its three existing campuses into one purpose built, state of the art complex that will accommodate over 15,000 students in both further and higher education.

In Rugby, the company supplied and installed a large format  7 x 4.2m corporate branding board built upon special structurally approved concrete foundations. The sign itself is made from a structured approved steel frame and designed to withstand extreme wind and weather (currently very appropriate).

In addition, the company also supplied a large 5 x 2.5m wide project board designed to promote further detail about the features within the development. Both signs feature 2 metre ground clearance and were installed as part of a full contract supply agreement. This contract, designed to be a “one stop supply” arrangement included provision for the supply of all ground-works onsite, including the supply of a JCB, concrete foundations, supply of cherry pickers, certified engineers and full working method statements.

Commenting on the two separate developments, Managing Director Tim Andrews said: “We have recently experienced a strong increase in the number of regeneration projects we are getting involved in with schools, colleges and local authorities. This is a sector that really is in profile at the moment as the Government commits to spending millions on upgrading the infrastructure and standard of education and learning facilities throughout the UK and on a par with our European neighbours. We are delighted to be able to continue our work supporting the companies working to regenerate these sectors, the supply of perimeter hoarding decorations in particular is a key way in which we can really make these developments stand out. We enjoy a long and successful partnership with St Modwen and look forward to working on the next phase of development at Longbridge”.
