Hollywood Monster The Compendium of Hoardings

24.07.13

Hollywood Monster has successfully completed a hoarding signage project for Compendium Living. Hollywood was set the task of supply and installing the hoarding for the Castleward regeneration scheme in Derby.

The hoarding, measuring a mammoth length of 100 metres, the equivalent to 12 double-decker buses, was manufactured using 3mm Dibond, printed direct to media with an anti graffiti film. The hoarding dressed the perimeter of the project, improving the aesthetics of the site whilst maintaining the safety of members of the public around the site during the period of construction.

The Castleward regeneration scheme is a key element of the Derby Cityscape Masterplan. The £100 million project aims to provide a highly sustainable, mixed-use urban village with 800 newly built homes on what is currently a brownfield location on the edge of the city centre, opposite the popular Westfield Derby shopping centre. The Castleward scheme is only the second development project in the United Kingdom to scoop accreditation from BRE for its overall sustainability.

The signage completed for the Castleward scheme added to the growing list of successful projects undertaken by Hollywood Monster for Compendium Living at various locations of their other ongoing schemes, including Lincoln Gardens, Vivo and Pinelands, where a much varied range of Hollywood Monster’s high quality signage and graphics are on display.
