Hollywood Monster help Unity Collaborative School pupils to design a new sign

21.06.13

Earlier this week we had school pupils from three North Solihull Schools to design a new sign for their school’s collaborative initiative.

Nicole Stanley, Aged 12 from CTC Kingshurst Academy, Emilie Diver, 14 from Park Hall Academy, Georgia Hickman, 12, Alice Ward, 14 and Bethany Young, 12, all from Smith’s Wood Sports College were chosen by their respective schools after an internal design competition to represent their schools.

The school pupils spent the day within the business learning what life is like in our workplace, the history of our business, the technology that we use and some ‘hands on’ experience on the MAC computers and of course watching the printing equipment in action.

The school pupils tweaked their designs, digitized their logos, and then watched the signs being printed onto Foamex all under the supervision of their Teacher and our staff.

The finished signs all looked amazing. The three designs will now be presented to an online survey competition to vote on the preferred design…..Watch this space.
